"We wanted to remodel our kitchen since it had been refurbished 25 years ago. Since I had sub-contractors I had worked with in the past, I wanted to be my own General Contractor. What we did need was a designer. We knew we wanted to move a wall to make the space larger and to take the stove out of the center of the kitchen. I researched designers and called Sarah. She was fantastic! As our home was built in 1974, we knew there would be some challenges. Sarah did all the measurements and I appreciated her detail and precision. We could tell she’s done this many, many, times. She suggested a new company for cabinets she was working with. Her first design included a banquette. Little did she know that I love banquettes! After modestly tweaking the design we ordered the cabinets from Merit. Sarah guided me through the whole project including suggestions of where to purchase appliances. She worked with my carpenter, electrician, countertop fabricator and plumber. Sarah ordered sample cabinet doors and drawers as we chose two different finishes on the top and bottom. She suggested and ordered all the hardware to complete our beautiful new kitchen. We are so thankful for her design, counsel and support throughout the whole project.
